Marathon Coach is pleased to present a short documentary film about the Tillamook Air Museum, a unique aviation museum just south of Tillamook, Oregon. This beautifully-filmed mini-documentary features one of only 17 wooden hangars that were built during WWII. A functional work of art, the wooden hangar was originally built in 1942 to store WWII aircraft. Now, the structure is a piece of history that also stores history. This short film includes an in-depth interview with Museum Curator Christian Gurling, who has been with the museum for approximately 13 years. Listen in as Mr. Gurling describes how the museum appeals to veterans, families and children alike, and how visitors are attracted to the museum by the unique hangar, but stay for the historical artifacts and exhibits. Whether you love history, architecture or aviation, you will enjoy this short film from the producers at Marathon Coach.
