For Marathon Coach owners and RVers in general, it’s all about the lifestyle. Whether or not you are a part of the Marathon family, we invite you to participate in a photo exhibit/competition where you get to show us some of your best pictures and also vote on your favorites!
Whether you are still quarantined or ready to hit the road again, we invite you to share your photos from the road, home, your coach, RV parks and from popular and obscure destinations. For each submission (no more than five submissions per photographer), choose between these five categories:
- Getting Out
- Staying In
- Best Photo of Your RV
- Best Photo of Your Marathon
- Marathon “Adventures”
The style is up to you – we only ask that they be your original photographs. The deadline for submissions is May 21, 2021. Online voting will begin the following day, on May 22, 2021. It’s free to submit and free to vote! You may only vote for one photograph in each category, one time each week. Voting will continue through June, with winners announced on June 21 of 2021. All winners will receive a beautiful, one-of-a-kind keepsake trophy as well as publication in The Maratime magazine. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- The Submission Deadline is May 21, 2021. Submissions are FREE! Photos will not be accepted after May 21, 2021.
- Online submissions only, please. Physical photographs will not be accepted or returned.
- No more than 5 entries per photographer. You cannot submit more than one photo per form – you must submit a separate form for each photo you upload (for example, if you are submitting three photos, you must fill out the form three times).
- Horizontal or vertical orientation is acceptable. Photos submitted must be at least 640 pixels on the shorter side, and no more than 2000 pixels on the longer side. Please make sure your images are in JPG format and no larger than 5MB.
- Please provide a unique title for each photo.
- All submitted photos must contain original metadata, and contain no watermarks or copyright markings.
- Basic editing – eg., color enhancement, dropping, basic filters – is acceptable. Advanced editing to create illusions, deceptions or manipulations is prohibited.
- Every image uploaded is subject to a moderation process before it becomes visible on the contest page. Marathon Coach reserves the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo at their discretion.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content are strictly prohibited. Political and/or divisive content will not be accepted. You will NOT be notified if your submission is not accepted.
- Submissions will be displayed in the gallery at the bottom of this page upon acceptance. Please leave 3-5 days for submissions to be displayed in the gallery.
- By entering this contest, you are agreeing to have your photo published in The Maratime magazine.

CATEGORIES DEFINED
- Getting Out. Share your emergence from the depths of lockdown, whether it be unique destinations, socially-distanced gatherings or just you and your partner hitting the road again.
- Staying In. Many of us are still sheltered in place. Show us how, where and/or with whom you are passing the time.
- Best Photo of Your RV. More and more people like you are taking to the highways in RVs of all sizes, shapes and colors. Show us your best photo of your home-on-the-road.
- Best Photo of Your Marathon (Marathon owners only). To our family of owners: We are missing you! Check in with us by sending your favorite photos of your Marathon coach.
- Marathon “Adventures” (Marathon owners only). Also for our family of owners: We want to hear from you! Share with us some of your recent adventures with your Marathon coach.
PRIZE STRUCTURE AND ONLINE VOTING
- There will be keepsake trophies for First, Second and Third prize, and a Certificate of Honorable Mention, for each of the five categories listed above.
- Winners of the first three categories will have received the most online votes in each category. Winners of the Marathon-owners-only categories will be judged by a panel of Marathon employees. Online voting begins May 22, 2021 and ends on June 20, 2021.
