Marathon How to: Keep Bad Smells at Bay

How-to

Even when not in use, maintaining your Marathon is important. If it’s been a while since you’ve taken a road trip, the water in your P-traps – the U-shaped pipes under your sinks – can evaporate. It’s not fun being greeted by unpleasant smells after being away from your coach for a while. Instead of trying to mask that stench with air freshener after the fact, you can prevent those bad smells from ever happening.

How to prevent odors from a dry P-trap:

  1. Once per month, turn on the faucet.
  2. Pour water into your sink.
  3. Make sure the P-trap still has a good seal in it.

Watch Marathon Coach Sales/Service Support Technician Dave Bash demonstrate how to keep a good seal in your P-traps.
