Chase Elliott’s historic win at Daytona + Interview and Coach Profile

Congratulations to Marathon coach owner Chase Elliott, who navigated the new-to-NASCAR road course to victory at the GoBowling 235 at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday. At the age of 24 and only in his fifth full-time season, Chase has earned his reputation as a road course favorite and didn’t disappoint as he led for 34 of the 65 laps to win the first NASCAR Cup Series race on the challenging new course at Daytona. It was Elliott’s third consecutive road course win dating back to last year, and earned him his second victory of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series, as well the eighth win of his career. Way to go, Chase!

One of our favorite custom coaches to date, Chase Elliott’s Marathon Coach #1278 is a stunning representation of how the Marathon team works in tandem with clients to create a dream home on wheels that is singular to their desires and tastes. The exterior of Custom Coach #1278 contains “blacked out” rub rails, rims, mirrors and grille, and much of the interior design and decor was hand-chosen to cater to the NASCAR driver’s preference and style.
