Douglas is a small town on the waterfront of Lake Michigan, dotted with American flags, boats on the harbor and boutique shops and restaurants – a graceful setting to recognize our former and active members of the armed forces. Get a glimpse of this enchanting town, including the iconic Douglas Root Beer Barrel, recently restored and continuing to sell hot dogs and root beer floats out of a large barrel-shaped building in the center of town.
