The long-awaited, updated X3 model Prevost chassis has arrived on the production floor at Marathon. In this first episode of 2020, Mal begins with another first: Marathon Show Coach #1317, which is being built on the brand new, updated Prevost X3 chassis. Features of the new X3 include added headroom and exterior upgrades, but Mal’s focus today is the unique floorplan that Marathon is installing on this modernized chassis. Follow Mal to the back of Show Coach #1317, where he points out the details involved in creating a midship, en suite-style bathroom – where the water closet/shower area is designed to be part of the bedroom rather than part of the hallway.
