Meet Patches (the adventure cat). Near twenty-years-old, Patches is traveling in her third Marathon with her “parents” Jack and Lois.
“I’m trying to think about when she wandered to our house. We took her to the vet and the vet said she was between a year and a year-and-a-half old. I told Lois not to feed her; she was still feeding her on the deck. So I said ‘Don’t let her in the house’ and the next thing I know she’s in the house, and then there was the Marathon. We got her spayed and got her shots almost twenty years ago, and she still trucks with us everywhere we go.” – Jack
